SEO & AI Search Specialist

I help brands show up in AI-powered search.

Four years in content and SEO taught me how search actually works. The last stretch has been about what changes when the answer comes from an AI instead of a page of blue links.

How I Got Into Content Marketing and Link Building

I've worked in SEO for four years, and content marketing and link building are the niches I've settled into. But I didn't plan for any of it. I got in sideways, through a job I almost didn't take.

About

From physical stalls in Nairobi to AI-powered search.

I started in sales at twenty, working physical stalls, pushing the products nobody else wanted to push. You stand in front of strangers all day, you get told no, you keep going anyway. After that I moved online: transcription, then essay writing, accounts closed without warning, long stretches broke.

What I took from those years was tenacity, and one realization that changed everything: if I wanted to make it, I had to upskill on purpose. Now I do SEO for a portfolio of personal brands on Nick Gray's team, and that is where the AI-search part of my work really started.

Field notes on what's actually changing in search: who AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity decide to name, and what holds up underneath. Written from real sites.

Hi, I'm Tori.

I help brands show up in AI-powered search. Four years in content and SEO taught me how search actually works. The last stretch has been about what changes when the answer comes from an AI instead of a page of blue links.

I write about what's actually changing in search: how AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity decide who gets named, and what that means for anyone who wants to be found. Some of it is new. A lot of it is the fundamentals, holding up better than people expect.

When I'm not at the laptop I'm usually reading fiction or out walking. I'm on book four of the Stormlight Archive and in no rush to finish, and I take very long walks in green places.

If you want the longer story, the About page has it. My writing lives over on Articles. Or just say hi on socials, they're at the bottom.

I'm glad you're here.
